We did manage to do some damage but not nearly enough. I was able to take the two dudes that started the band for me and only lasted four or five turns. I just got my butt kicked in this mission too, so I'm interested in reading the responses from other players. I suppose you could probably meme the fight with 3 dagger specialists I haven't beaten the fight, this is just how I envision it after trying and dying
Additional fur padding/direwolf mantle/unhold plating on armour. Depending on the state of their debuffs, either disarm with the whip or deal damage with the cleaver, focusing down the one who has their armour destroyed the most to start stacking bleeds.ĭogs on each bro, either dropping them right away to deflect some of the initial hits, or saving them a bit to deal more damage after the armour has been worn down. Stun or daze the other one with the mace. Stagger with the hammer and use the armor destruction ability on the first target. Throw nets to hold the Oathbringers in place, throw firebomb on top.
I think Ideally I'd go in with:Ĭleaver Duelist (goblin posion, firebomb)Ĭoat weapons in goblin poison. Stack on the damage and armor pen as much as possible. How am I supposed to win this fight? I know if I start a new game now, I know it's coming and I can prepare accordingly, but if you have no idea this is going to happen, you are screwed.
Only thing I can bring are archers and some of my polearm dudes, which are damage dealers and ranged avoidance focused brothers, so they aren't meant to stand on the front lines and damage stuff and my one high level Oathtaker brother, cannot tank two equal opponents with hammers. I have three tank brothers, which I cannot bring into the fight for some reason (I guess they are too low level, they are only 6 and 7).
I have one brother, who is pretty good all-arounder, it's the starter Oathtaker (level 9) with the starter 200/200 armor. What triggers this fight? Because, right now I am woefully unequipped and underleveled for such a fight. You have to fight against 2 super Oathbringers with 3 brothers, which have around 300/300 armor and are equipped with top end weapons and it seems they are both max level all-arounders. Little spoiler here, but there is a fight in Oathbringers origin, which is pretty soul crushing fight.
